We had The Controversial All-Stars play at our wedding on Friday, September 12th, 2025, and they were absolutely phenomenal! From the very first song, the dance floor was packed, and it stayed that way all night. Their energy, talent, and charisma kept everyone buzzing, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them—so many people were asking us who they were and how they could book them! They truly made the night unforgettable and were a massive success. We couldn’t have asked for a better band to celebrate our big day with. Highly recommended

I cannot recommend the controversial all stars enough. They performed all the music for our wedding day. We got compliments from all our guests and one couple booked them because of it. Every area they played became a dance floor. Dave was our point of contact and nothing was an issue for him, requests for the DJ on the night were met with smiles. Thank you Dave and Ingrid for everything.

Dave & Ingrid and their band made our whole day so magical! Dave helped us customise and organise our music for the ceremony. The standard of musicians was outstanding, not to mention the quality of their voices both individually and combined.
We had a violin and piano play at our wedding ceremony, everyone complemented how beautiful the music was. Dave and the violin player (Maria) played beautifully and didn't hesitate to learn any song given to them.
The drinks ceremony was Dave playing the piano and Indrid singing. She had a stunning voice and it was perfect for our setting in Glasson Lakehouse.
The whole band as one are a real talent and very competent and professional musicians. You can tell they are playing together for many many years. It was great seeing Ingrid and Dave sing together, they have a great chemistry as do all of the band. The variety of songs they played suited all interests. The dance floor was busy the entire night 💃🏼👏🙌
For the DJ I requested my own playlist as I do some Djing myself and Dave was great helping me do this so thank you. The quality of the sound and the equipment and lighting used was all great and enough for what we wanted for our wedding. Everything worked out great and the organisation of it all was so simple either on the phone with Dave chatting or on WhatsApp messages or via email.

We couldn’t have picked a better band for our wedding this past September! Planning from abroad made it tough to choose, but I’m so glad we went with them. Their energy was contagious, and they had everyone on their feet from the very first song. The mix of Ingrid and Dave's vocals was incredible.
The set list had something for everyone, and they knew exactly how to keep the party going. I’ve never seen a dance floor so packed for so long! Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had. If you want a band that will make your wedding unforgettable, this is the one. Highly recommend!

We booked the Controversial AllStars for band and DJ at our wedding, and we are so happy that we did. From the first contact we knew we were in good hands with Dave and all the band. The band were quick to set up and kept the dancefloor alive from the first dance to the final song Riverdance- which is a very fond memory from the whole day! I can't put In to words how amazing this band made our day but I will try, our guests are still talking about how brilliant they were and at least 3 of our guests have asked us for contact details and 2 differnt parents of upcoming weddings have also enquired they are amazing and so accommodating dave is the nicest bloke ever and a legend on the rish music scene they exceeded every expectation and If you don't get them for your wedding you are missing out we went and listened to at least 15 bands and we are so happy we went them.

We had such a great experience with Controversial Allstars! Dave managed all of our wedding events coordinating the perfect ensemble for each event from a harpist at our rehearsal dinner, an Irish welcome band with a renowned traditional Irish musician for our welcome drinks, an ensemble at the church ceremony, and both a band and DJ at the reception that had everyone on the dance floor. We had multiple guests comment on the music and what an amazing band we had! Dave also went above and beyond making sure we had mics for our speeches and kept us on schedule. Also Ingrid Madsen has a truly beautiful voice. We had originally had some challenges getting support from another wedding band and were so glad we ended up going with the Controversial Allstars!
